Note of Caution on Solid State Relays.
Do NOT use with:
- Any Induction Motor control.
- For high sustainable passive current loads divide the rating by 3: so a 40A will handle 13–15A and the 60A will handle 20A.
- For short burst operation of 1–3 minutes, the amp rating is fine.
- A heat sink is included and heat paste recommended for high sustainable loads.
The big benefit of these relays is the speed and low off current as well as compact design.
