Quasar Glass Power + Cerbo: MultiPlus-II 12/3000, Cerbo GX MK2, Orion XS 50 A, SmartSolar and SmartShunt
Whole-of-vehicle power with control from the glass: MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32 inverter/charger and Cerbo GX MK2 on the router's Ethernet, with Orion XS 50 A, SmartSolar 100/30 and SmartShunt; inverter mode and shore limit from the tile.
Quasar Glass Power + Cerbo is Quasar Glass Control plus a Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32 inverter/charger (3,000 VA inverter, 120 A charger, 32 A transfer switch), Cerbo GX MK2, Orion XS 12/12-50 A DC-DC charger, SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 and SmartShunt 500 A. The Cerbo connects to the Quasar Glass Router by Ethernet, every device it knows appears on the glass and in the app over Modbus TCP, and inverter/charger mode and the AC input current limit are controlled from the tile: the same control set Victron gives its own displays. Monitor everything, control Safiery, and control exactly what Victron's own MFD app controls; everything else stays read-only until you add a Quasar ONE, which gives the same glass full Victron control and conversation. The MultiPlus-II replaces both the IP22 charger and a separate inverter, and the Cerbo also gets VRM over the router's 4G when a SIM is fitted. Setup is one Ethernet lead from the Cerbo to the router: the panels show Victron found and prompt the two taps that enable Modbus TCP on the Cerbo, and on 10-inch and 13-inch Quasar Glass panels the Cerbo's own MFD page appears full-screen as a tile after the six-digit PIN from the Cerbo enclosure is entered once. The switching side is the Control package exactly: one STAR-Light V2 with twelve dimmable channels, one Quasar Glass 4 panel and the dual-band 4G router, pre-paired at our bench. Because the Victron devices are cabled to the Cerbo they join the AI Configuration Service's automated list. Victron equipment is supplied by Safiery as part of the package on the one invoice.
About this product
Whole-of-vehicle power with control from the glass: Quasar Glass Control plus a MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32 inverter/charger, Cerbo GX MK2, Orion XS 12/12-50 A DC-DC, SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 and SmartShunt 500 A. The Cerbo connects to the Quasar Glass Router by Ethernet, every device it knows appears on the glass and in the app, and inverter/charger mode and the AC input current limit are controlled from the tile - the same control set Victron gives its own displays. Monitor everything, control Safiery, and control exactly what Victron's own MFD app controls.
The MultiPlus-II replaces both the IP22 charger and a separate inverter: 3,000 VA of 230 V, a 120 A charger and a 32 A transfer switch in one unit. The Cerbo GX MK2 ties the MultiPlus-II, Orion XS, SmartSolar and SmartShunt together and reaches the glass over Modbus TCP, so the tiles fill from the Cerbo rather than from Bluetooth. The Cerbo also gets VRM over the router's 4G when a SIM is fitted.
Setup is one Ethernet lead from the Cerbo to the router. The panels show Victron found and prompt the two taps that enable Modbus TCP on the Cerbo. Everything beyond inverter/charger mode and the shore limit stays read-only until you add a Quasar ONE, which gives the same glass full Victron control and conversation.
Inverter mode and shore limit on the tile
With the Cerbo on the router's Ethernet, the glass reads every Cerbo-known device over Modbus TCP - not only the ones with Bluetooth - and controls exactly what Victron's own MFD displays control: inverter/charger mode and the AC input current limit. Turn the MultiPlus-II on or off and set the shore-power limit from the tile. Everything else stays read-only by design.
The whole Victron system, from the Cerbo
Power and AC pages fill from the Cerbo: the MultiPlus-II's state and AC power, the Orion XS charge current, the MPPT's solar power and yield, the SmartShunt's state of charge. Cable-connected Victron devices join the automated configuration list, so the AI Configuration Service can set charge profiles, device names, DVCC and Modbus from your spreadsheet before switch-on.
Twelve channels on glass, pre-paired
The STAR-Light V2, the Quasar Glass 4 panel and the Quasar Glass Router arrive already on the kit's private network. Router and controller on your always-on circuit, power up in any order, and every channel is live on the glass within about a minute - three swipe pages of tiles, press and hold to dim, scenes on a long press.
Works with
- Every Victron device the Cerbo knows — Cerbo GX over Ethernet and Modbus TCP; Power and AC pages on the glass and in the app
- Inverter/charger mode and AC input current limit — Controlled from the tile - the same control set as Victron's own MFD displays
- VRM — The Cerbo reaches VRM over the router's 4G when a SIM is fitted
- Apple Home and Google Home — STAR-Light runs Matter
- STAR-Tank radar level sensors — One sensor per tank, on the glass and in the app
- Tyre pressure, incline and Safiery solid-state batteries — Through a STAR-Rover-4 CAN peer
- Changing charge voltages or other Victron settings from the glass — Read-only beyond mode and shore limit; VictronConnect, the Cerbo, or the AI Configuration Service

Questions
What can I control from the glass?
Inverter/charger mode and the AC input current limit - the same two controls Victron gives its own MFD displays. Everything else the Cerbo shows is read-only on the glass and in the app. Full Victron control with conversation is the Quasar ONE upgrade.
How does the Cerbo connect?
One Ethernet lead from the Cerbo GX to the Quasar Glass Router. The panels detect it, show Victron found, and prompt the two taps that enable Modbus TCP on the Cerbo. The Cerbo's own MFD page appears as a full-screen tile on 10-inch and 13-inch glass after entering the six-digit PIN from its enclosure once.
Why is there no IP22 charger in this package?
The MultiPlus-II is an inverter/charger with a 120 A charger and a 32 A transfer switch built in, so a separate mains charger is not needed.
Does the Cerbo get VRM?
Yes, over the router's 4G when a SIM is fitted, alongside the Quasar Glass App's remote access.
Is the Victron equipment priced separately?
No. It is supplied by Safiery as part of the package on the one invoice, at the one package price.
