Every RV user wants the flexibility with a touch screen digital switching system. Unfortunately, other systems like #czone are factory set. That seems to defeat the whole purpose of new technology. Safiery Integrated Display gives you maximum flexibility to choose which outputs are grouped in each of 4 modes and with each of 4 switches. In this video we also show the Smartphone app which leaves all other apps for dead as it emulates EXACTLY the Integrated Display. This is not a web browser, it is a full app. The Safiery Integrated Display lives in the van when camping but pops off and can sit on a suction mount in the vehicle. This multi-function single display can go everywhere: by the fire, in bed, in vehicle just wherever you want.
The most important consideration for an all electric van is replenishment energy. On this Zone RV we have 1710W of solar. This will fully replenish the 800Ah Lithium (12V equiv). In bad wether, just idle up the vehicle and Scotty can pump in nearly 2000W. There are 3 different solar panel sizes with completely different specifications on the roof. New-comers will ask: "parallel or Serial connected"? There are serial connected but through Safiery's DC DC for solar. These are a compact 1/2 brick DC DC that lets each panel contribute to the circuit. Shade or damage one panel and it has no impact on the reast. Without these, we couldn't get that level of solar energy. The 6000VA Inverter Charger will run the kitchen and hot water simultaneously. This is sheer luxury we know, but it is so easy to add and costs only $99 for the lux sensor, so why not! You set the Lux level for the lights to come on and they slowly go up as the Lux value decreases. It’s so simple but an absolute pleasure. If you are away from your van during the day, this auto-lights mode will give a “lived in” look. It will certainly be a talking point with friends. You can configure which lights are activated in this mode from a selection of up to 10 devices. For our competition like #czone you have to return the van to the factory for changes, not sure if they have auto light mode. Their buttons and modes are fixed. But not with Safiery Integrated Display! This is something special we think: “How good’s That”..
Arriving at a campsite couldn’t be easier with Safiery Integrated Display. Users have the convenience of a single push button that can do all of the automation for setting up from the front storage box. We use an IP67 Rubberised rugged keypad. What stops unwanted visitors from activating this too? A user settable PIN. Change it as often as you like. More importantly, users can select from up to 10 devices/lights what comes on. It could be steps, lights and water pump for example. When inside you can turn off easily. For our competition like #czone you have to return the van to the factory. Buttons and modes are fixed. Walking back into camp at dusk to a locked van may require getting keys out, opening door in the dark, pulling out steps, turning on lights and hoping no slithers under the steps!. Safiery have simplified this and give users the convenience of a single push button that can do all of the above from the front storage box. We use an IP67 Rubberised rugged keypad. Integrating all the Victron components in this 48V system is not easy to do. More difficult is to seamlessly control the Multi RS switching it on/off and setting the AC Current Input limit. Fortunately, it is on CANbus as most new Victron devices are. This video shows the operation of the Inverter/Charger. The system also incorporates the Bluetooth Temperature pucks that come into Victron and then up onto our display. The system is also in the cloud with up to 6 month history. To give redundancy, we read the 48V (also can do 12V) CANbus Lithium batteries directly onto the display. This is independent to the Victron eco-system. However, Victron is also reading on CANbus (VE.CAN port for the advanced viewers) the same Lithium battery. Yes, it reads directly into both systems. Now this is something special we think: “How good’s That”.
Whilst we are showing you this auto-ride height from behind the van for illustration, normally this would be done from within the vehicle when you arrive, or from the PIN controlled buttons on the front storage box at the hockey wheel position. Safiery add a separate digital controller so this functionality can operate independently of others. There are four function buttons: - Touch “Calibrate On-Road” when the van is level and hitched to the vehicle - Touch “Calibrate Off-Road” when the van is raised for more clearance off road. - Touch “Auto Level On Road” to auto-level. ThE Roll is adjusted first, then the pitch. - Touch “Auto Level off Road” to auto-level to a greater height when off road. You can manually adjust the airbags at any time from the display. The air-pressure of each side is shown on the display. You can see the air-pressure and operate from the vehicle using the Safiery Integrated Display on a suction cup holder (with power supply)
Priced at $290 for the system, it does require the Safiery Digital Inclinometer to be installed first. This gives you the pitch and roll of the van when you are camping and also when driving!
